HCM Financial LLC, doing business as CleverProfits (“we,” “our,” “us”), respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you visit our websites, what we do with it, who else receives it, and how to tell us to stop.
It covers the public websites we operate:
If you are a CleverProfits client, this policy is not about you. The financial records, tax documents and business data you share with us as part of your engagement are governed by your client agreement and our Written Information Security Plan. We do not share client financial or tax data with advertising platforms, ever, on any basis. The rest of this policy is about website visitors.
When you fill in a form, book a call, or submit an application, we collect what you type. Typically that is your name, email address, telephone number, company name, and whatever you choose to tell us about your business.
On startcleverprofits.com, if you purchase something, payment details are collected and processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
When you visit, we and the companies listed in section 3 automatically collect:
We use cookies and similar technologies (including pixels and web beacons) to do this. A cookie is a small file stored by your browser; a pixel is a small piece of code that reports that a page was viewed.
We use third-party analytics and advertising services. When you visit, these companies receive information about your visit directly, and each has its own privacy policy governing what it then does with it.

We also use service providers who handle information strictly on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes, including our hosting, email and payment providers.
Some advertising tools can be configured to take the contact details you type into a form, encode them, and send them to the advertising platform so it can match your enquiry to an ad you saw. We want to be specific about where we do and do not do this, because it differs between our sites.
If we change either of these, we will update this policy and change the Last Updated date above.
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never have.
However, under the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar laws in other states, sending information to advertising platforms for targeted advertising counts as “selling” or “sharing” your personal information, even when no money changes hands. Because we send visitor information to Google and Meta for advertising purposes, we are telling you plainly that this happens, and giving you a way to stop it in the next section.
You have the right to tell us not to share your personal information with advertising platforms. To exercise it, do any of the following:
Email us. Send a message to team@cleverprofits.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share.” Tell us the email address you used on our site so we can find your records. Our security team monitors this address and will confirm within 15 business days.
Use your browser’s controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies limits what these companies can collect, though it does not by itself send us a request — use the email method above for that.
Opt out with the platforms directly. You can adjust ad settings at Google (adssettings.google.com) and Meta (in your account settings), and install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
We will not treat you differently for exercising this right. You will still be able to use our websites and become a client.
We are in the process of adding a cookie consent banner that will let you decline non-essential tracking with a single click, and of supporting the Global Privacy Control browser signal. This policy will be updated when those are live. Until then, please use one of the methods above.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
To make a request, email team@cleverprofits.com. We will verify who you are before acting, usually by confirming the email address on file. We aim to respond within 45 days and will tell you if we need longer.
You may authorise someone else to make a request for you. We will ask for proof of that authorisation.
We use the information described above to respond to your enquiry, provide and support our services, bill you for anything you purchase, keep records, measure and improve our marketing, and improve our website and services.
We may combine information you give us on our websites with information you have given us elsewhere. We may also remove the details that identify you, in which case the remaining information is no longer personal information.
We may also use or disclose your information where we need to in order to comply with a law, regulation, court order or other legal process, or to protect our rights or property or someone’s health or safety.
Website analytics and advertising data is retained for as long as the relevant platform holds it under its own policies, and no longer than we need it.
Enquiry and booking information is kept for as long as we are in contact with you about working together, and afterwards in line with our record retention policy.
Client records are retained under your client agreement and our record retention policy, which are separate from this notice.
We maintain a Written Information Security Plan covering how we protect the information we hold, including access controls, encryption, staff training and a documented incident response process. We review it at least annually. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.
Our websites are aimed at business owners and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Our websites contain links to sites we do not control, and we sometimes appear in advertising on other websites. This policy does not cover those sites. Please read their policies.
If we change this policy we will update the Last Updated date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so on our homepage for a period of time.
We review this policy at least annually, and whenever we add or change a tracking technology on any of our websites.
