About Role

 

  • Manage client relationships and end-to-end tax planning process for clients.
  • Prepare S-corporation, corporation, and partnership federal and multi-state income tax returns.
  • Prepare tax plans, projections, and estimated tax models to provide clients with current information on their tax burden.
  • Research and evaluate technical tax issues and propose tax reduction solutions to clients.
  • Correspond with federal and state tax authorities on notices and elections and provide action items towards resolution.
  • Keep track of industry trends and changes related to taxes.

  • Qualifications

 

Must have a Bachelor Degree in Accounting, plus four years of experience as a Tax Associate or Accountant, for an accounting firm, and Four years of experience using CCH, Axcess, CCH Engagement, Bloomberg Tax Planner, SurePrep, CaseWare, QuickBooks Online, Quickbooks Desktop, Microsoft Excel and GoFileRoom. Telecommuting is permitted. Required to travel to Ashburn, Virginia on a monthly basis.
