SAICA Trainee

About Role

This role is all about making sure that CleverProfits delivers a great product to its clients through a combination of technology and process. You will report to the Advisory Managers and primarily be responsible for all aspects of Advisory services including, inter alia, financial due diligence, valuations, financial modeling and deal advisory.

On a practical level you will: 

• Develop a deep understanding of existing technology being used in the CleverProfits technology stack.
• Conduct industry and company specific research relevant to each engagement.
• Be familiar with expected time allocations, deliverables and deadlines for each engagement.
• Assist in preparation of engagement agreements, scoping documents and information request lists.
• Perform detailed analysis on Target companies.
• Be prepared for all client and internal meetings.
• Be responsible for writing up engagement reports.
• Ensure all queries are addressed and documented accordingly.
• Understand all existing templated processes, understand how they are applied, and ensure it is followed.
• Take a proactive approach in improving developmental areas.
• Take a proactive approach to completing SAICA competency assessments on a regular basis.
• Be responsible for any other duties assigned to you by the Advisory Manager.
